Mrs. Anyanwu, a First Class Statistics graduate of the University of Ilorin, has over two decades cognate banking experience spanning Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Banking Operations, Commercial Banking and Financial Control. She is the Executive Director, Risk Management.

A Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), she started her career in Price Waterhouse, now PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria (Chartered Accountants) in 1985 before joining African Continental Bank Plc in 1988. She later moved on to Oceanic Bank International Plc where she rose from the position of Assistant Manager to Assistant General Manager from 1990 – 1996.

Between 1996 and 2006, she played significant roles in the UBA Plc SAP (Computer Software) Implementation Project, Re-engineering of Banking Operations, Credit Administration and Monitoring as well as spearheaded the transformation of the Bank’s entire credit risk management process in readiness for BASEL 11 compliance.

Before her appointment as Executive Director FinBank, she was Head, Group Risk Management & Control, Diamond Bank Plc.

She has attended various specialized training within and outside Nigeria, among which include, Risk Management in Banking, INSEAD and EuroMoney’s trainings in Managing Operational Risk and Credit Risk Models for BASEL 11, among others.
