Dr. Theo Chike Osanakpo, SAN, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos , a Masters degree in Comparative Law from the Southern Methodist University, Dallas , Texas , USA and a Doctorate degree in Law in 1984 from the University of Exeter, England. He was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1978. He distinguished himself as a legal Practitioner and was elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in 1997.Apart from his legal practice, he has served at various times as Chairman, Rivers State  Government Special Committee on Revalidation of Approved Building Plans in 1999, Pro – Chancellor and Chairman 7th Governing Council, Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He was elected on 7th June 2006 as Chairman of the Board of Directors First Inland Bank Plc. He was decorated in 1992 by His Holiness Pope John Paul II with the Papal Knighthood of Saint Gregory the Great.
